China Sales Manager(新建外商独资)销售经理
Position Title: Sales Manager - China
Reporting to: Director of International Sales (美国人)
The main purpose of this position will be to provide in country support and management for the establishment and operation of Company China Sales Office. The purpose is to support Company business growth in China and ensure compliance with local regulations for sales and service offices.
Responsibilities of this role includes establishing a sales office, participate in the interviewing and hiring of additional employees, training employees, and coordinating on legal aspects of registering and operating a Chinese Sales and Service office. The incumbent will also liaison with corporate team back in US and Chile to ensure adequate level of local support/service is in place for mill liner, crusher parts and other products to mines in China.
Nature and Scope:
This position will be based in China. Willingness to live abroad, tenacity, initiative and self confidence are all attributes required to achieve results in this position.
The incumbent will assist in the recruitment of staff, manage staff, develop a plan to obtain new business and ultimately support customers in the territory. He/she will also build on relationships with personnel at Company global production facilities as well as the corporate offices to achieve best business results.
This position might be required to take on certain international sales functions, as needed. In such case, the incumbent is expected to maintain positive relationships with relevant customers including operators, purchasing agents, and facility managers.
Job performance is measured in terms of achieving results, the ability to work with others, planning and problem solving.
Principal Accountabilities:
? Establish and manage office in China and coordinate the legal aspects of business activities during such process.
? Identify, hire (with input from HR and corporate team), and manage local employees.
? Develop a sales plan for China for each major product line including market survey and highest potential opportunities.
? Identify and respond to customer concerns regarding product quality, delivery schedules and other issues.
? Develop quotes, proposals, and respond to customer inquiries related to company products, designs and company operations.
? Interact with other service groups such as design and finance to assure timely response to customer requirements.
? Support the company presence at various trade and technical shows and seminars in the territory.
Requirements:
? An engineering, technical, or business degree
? Minimum 4 years of technical sales experience preferably within the mining industry
? An aptitude for performing business activities in a professional manner.
? Knowledge of the Company products, technical capabilities, and/or sales processes
? Well developed communication skills, both written and oral
? An understanding towards key elements of fiscal management and finance, both from the company perspective as well as the customers.
? Willingness to live in China and travel outside of China as needed。
